Being one of the largest product firms in the world, compliance on employee benefits is its supreme priority. On the other hand, dealing with such diverse population would mean there is very heavy lifting in terms of maintaining the controls, regulations, privacy practices and security.

Solution Approach

  • We built an entire platform using .NET  based technologies
  • Global Time Tracking Web Application was built with the modules including Leave/Absence management, Scheduling and Holiday management
  • The application reporting components included Utilization, Approval compliance, Vacation Request details, Management Summary
  • Outlook Integration – Improving vacation management health for managers
  • Manager dashboard – Helps managers and admins to track Utilization through red/amber/green indicators
  • Management summary – Trend view – Helps management in better analysis of vacation management metrics across geographies, and perform trend analysis

Benefits

  • Year-End Rollover limit – a feature which allows setting-up a threshold for each legal entity for carrying-over the unused paid vacation to next vacation
  • Carry Forward days Expiry – a feature introduced to help legal entities setup a fixed month when unused Carry-Forward days from previous year expires
  • Employees utilized their 7000 CF days within first few months in one calendar year to reduce/save from expiry
  • Vacation utilization scores help monitoring & controlling the days the company is liable to pay-out.
  • Graphically shows the days where & when employees within the manager’s organisation have submitted vacation requests
