Why we are building this product iSeeNowLive ?
When our co-founders discussed on potential product ideas. This problem came up from one of the co-founder that he is struggling to solve a property issue at Bengaluru where in he was residing in Florida, USA. The problem with the property is somebody(anonymous) person has come up with some encroachments near to his property. He was in immediate need of visual inspection of the property to make the next move.
The property was purchased when he was in Bengaluru. The situation was he could not immediately travel to India. He also couldnot find any friends who can help with the visuals of the property. He was discussing this problem with us in one of our meeting. Just casually we discussed the following options:
a. What about use of Whatsapp for a video call but he dont know who can do that ?
b. Can any one of his friends near by can travel and take a a video and share ?
c. What about setting up a permenant CCTV kind of solution ?
d. Can his parents can go and come ?
All of these options were not viable for the following reasons:
a. Travel takes time,cost and energy
b. Trustable 3rd party was not available
c. Don’t want to bother friends as they are living away from the property
d. Don’t want to bother parents as travel would as it would be tiresome for them
e. Permenant CCTV requires infrastructure and maintenance and becomes costly
That’s when the idea/aha moment came. Why don’t we have a service where somebody can capture the visuals of my property from a smart phone and then share. The person who is helping to capture the visuals can be paid by the person in need of visuals. We also wanted to simplify the process so that from the App itself the request for stream can go and person whoever is nearby can fulfill the request and get paid!
The app idea was nurtured to solve the following problems:
a. Person nearby can fulfill the video streaming request
b. Person requested immediately get to see the visual
c. No need to bug other friend or relatives
d. We can request multiple times if needed
e. Helps to take minimal steps to get to the visual without travelling and spending energy.
